The iconic Tiffany brand was founded in 1837 by Charles Tiffany and John Young. Originally the company sold stationery and later added jewellery to its product line-up. The Tiffany brand became widely known thanks to the mail order catalogue it launched in 1845. Using its now hallmark blue colour, the catalogue quickly became known as the ‘Blue Book’ and was widely sought after.

Philippe Starck has become one of the iconic designers of his time. Known for his architectural designs and industrially inspired designs, Starck actually began his career under the tutelage of French designer Pierre Cardin.
